The Scottish physician has a witty sense of humor and also posses the Ancient Gene allowing him to interact with the cities technology, a fact he is most uncomfortable with. He is also credited with discovering the Ancient Gene in humans. He also developed a retro virus to use against the Wraith, turning them human, however unless constantly administered, the subject will revert back to Wraith form.
