Lt. Ford served as Atlantis' military second in command on Sheppard’s Team. He comes through when needed but likes to play things a little to by the book. While defending Atlantis against the Wraith Siege, he was injected with a special enzyme when a Wraith tried to feed off him. This enzyme made Ford stronger and faster, almost super solider like. But the cost was high as it also made him dependant on the enzyme like a drug and mentally unstable. He left Atlantis to become a mercenary, hunting down the wraith for more of the enzyme and occasionally crosses paths with his former team.
