Dr. Rodney McKay is a brilliant astrophysicist second only to Samantha Carter, although he will tell you different. He is Atlantis' chief scientific advisor. His arrogant and acerbic personality often proves tiring to the other members of the team, his lightning quick mental reflexes and knowledge has saved the expedition more then once. There is only one person Dr. McKay trusts to get the job done, and it’s himself.
