A scientist and dignitary from Kelowna, one of the three nations on his planet Langara, Quinn was present for the accident that gave Daniel Jackson a fatal dose of radiation poisoning. His nation tried to cover up the accident but Jonas wouldn’t allow it since Daniel saved him from the accident. When Daniel died and ascended, SG1 had an opening, one that Jonas gladly filled, but only for a short time. His world needed him back and after a short tenure with SG1 he went back to try and help his world rebuild.
